Let’s get ready for an adventurous journey through the picturesque landscapes of Pleiku and Buon Ma Thuot in Vietnam. This 7-day trek takes you through ethnic minority villages, lush forests, and scenic riversides. STARTING THE JOURNEY IN PLEIKU (DAY 1 – 2)

We arrive in Pleiku, the heart of Central Highland of Vietnam, and prepare for the journey through lush forests and riversides. After receiving trekking instructions at the hotel, you will then trek to the Pine Forest of Kondong, visiting four villages of the Bahnar minority along the way. In the evening, you will enjoy a traditional Gong music performance and dinner in Dekop, staying overnight in a Rong house or tents with the necessary facilities.

YANG NAM/PLEIBUM – GOING THROUGH THE FORESTS (DAY 3)

For the third day, prepare for a one-day trekking journey and trek through several villages of the Jarai minority. You will have a picnic lunch at H’Nga and continue trekking along the Pa River, enjoying the beautiful scenery of forests and mountains. You will also stop to taste local fruits and cross the river by bamboo boats before arriving at PleiBloum.

DAKMIN RIVER AND LAKE – BLUE GEMS OF THE HIGHLAND (DAY 4 -5)

Continuing the adventure, you will be transferred to DakMin River by bus. Along the way, you will stop at Phu Cuong waterfall for sightseeing. In Buon Don, you will learn about the customs and traditions of the ethnic minorities, witness the taming of wild elephants, and visit suspension bamboo bridges and an ancient wooden house on stilts. In the afternoon, you will trek through the forest, following elephants, and camp overnight at DakMin River.

The next day, we will continue the journey to DakMin Lake. Once you arrive, you will have time to rest and freshen up before enjoying dinner.

BUON DON/BUON MA THUOT – THE END OF A LEGENDARY JOURNEY (DAY 6 – 7)

The next day, we will continue the journey to DakMin Lake. Once you arrive, you will have time to rest and freshen up before enjoying dinner.

Until now, you are reaching the end of the adventure by arriving at Boun Don, the famous protected area that was built on an island surrounded by the Serepok River. Here, you will experience elephant riding to visit the daily life of people in the village or ride an elephant across the river, sit on a canoe to fish, watch lotus on Lak Lake, or go down the legendary Serepok River to discover Ea No oasis, or participating in folk games such as walking on stilts, blindfolded and smashing clay pots, etc… along with the indigenous people.

After the visit, you will stay overnight in Buon Don and arrive in Buon Ma Thuot to catch your flight back, marking the end of the trip.
