This tour offers a unique focus on yoga and meditation. You will have the opportunity to practice yoga daily under the guidance of a Vietnamese Yoga Master. In addition to yoga classes, you will also have the chance to participate in meditation sessions to achieve a balance between mind and body. This tour combines the tranquility of Mai Chau Avana Retreat and the serene beauty of Halong Bay, providing the perfect environment for relaxation and self-reflection.

EMBRACING THE SERENITY OF THE OLD QUARTER (DAY 1)

We start our trip in Hanoi, the heart of Northern Vietnam, where you can find anything – literally anything that you’ve ever wanted in a trip, beautiful infrastructure, different local vibes, great foods, and stories from thousands of years ago of this special nation. Notoriously known as the grand old dame of the east, Hanoi seamlessly mixes an old-world Parisian legacy with the frantic and bustling excitement of a modern Asian capital. And what better way to experience this eclectic mix than exploring the city’s labyrinth of backstreets the local way – on a cyclo? We will arrange for you to participate in yoga sessions (at the level of your choice) at the best studio in Hanoi. There, our health expert will have discussions to understand your current situation (physical condition, mental state, desires, etc.), and from that, we will make the most suitable arrangements for you to join each session. You will surely feel a significant positive change after this period.

GET IN TOUCH WITH YOUR INNER SELF AT THE AVANA MAI CHAU RETREAT (DAY 2 -3)

Arriving at Avana Mai Chau Retreat from day two, let’s continue the journey by embark on a trekking tour through the beautiful Thai villages, including a hike across Pu Poc Mountain, where you can admire rice terraces, traditional villages, and lush jungle. Next, you will experience a sunrise Yoga session led by a Vietnamese Yoga Master, delving into the ancient art and science of Yoga for mind-body balance, embark on a boating tour to explore the shimmering plains of Mai Chau, visiting the magnificent Go Lao waterfall and taking a dip for the adventurous, followed by a scenic boat cruise on Hoa Binh Lake to witness the daily routines of local fishermen.

DISCOVERING NINH BINH – THE KING’S LAND (DAY 4 – 5)

Spend the whole fourth day discovering Ninh Binh, starting with a yoga and meditation session, followed by a boat excursion to explore caves, limestone mountains, and rice fields, while enjoying a picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery, before returning to your hotel for a leisurely evening.

LUXURY STAY ON CRUISE THROUGH HALONG BAY (DAY 5 TO DAY 7)

We continue our journey with Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Embark on the Bhaya cruise and enjoy welcome drinks and a cruise briefing. Indulge in a delicious lunch while cruising through the magnificent Ha Long Bay, admiring the stunning rock formations along the way. There are many exciting activities in this experience, like a meditation on the deck, a bamboo rowing boat or kayak excursion to explore Hang Luon cave, swimming at Ti Top beach, a sunset cocktail party, and a cooking class.
